Greendale Voters Head to the Polls Today

The Fall General Election takes place today, Tuesday, November 4. Polling places will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. All polling places are accessible to elderly and disabled voters.

Greendale polling places are arranged according to Wards:

Wards 1 & 2 vote at Greendale High School, 6801 Southway.

Wards 3 & 4 vote at Canterbury Grade School, 7000 Endfield Ave.

Wards 5 & 6 vote at College Park Grade School, 5701 W. College Ave.

Wards 7 & 8 vote at Highland View Grade School, 5900 S. 51st St.

Wards 9 & 10 vote at Greendale Safety Center, 5911 W. Grange Ave.

ELECTION RESULTS

The Greendale race for two Village Board Trustee positions resulted in a win for incumbent James Birmingham, with 36% of the vote and a win for challenger Gregory Turay with 35% of the vote. Incumbent James Strange ended up in third place with 29% of the vote.

In the Greendale Municipal Judge contest, challenger Mark Kapocius won with 52% of the vote over incumbent Anthony Machi who received 48%.

Village Trustees serve 3-year terms. The Municipal Judge serves a 2-year term.

In the Milwaukee County Supervisor for District 17 race, Joe Sanfelippo won with 51% of the vote vs. Don Holt's 49%. Former District 17 Supervisor Dan Devine won his race for West Allis Mayor in a landslide victory with 69% of the vote. The Milwaukee County Executive race went to incumbent Scott Walker who received 58% of the vote vs. challenger Lena Taylor's 42%.

The Wisconsin State Supreme Court race was won by challenger Mike Gableman against incumbent Louis Butler. Gambleman's election night party was held in at the VFW Post Greendale.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett easily beat challenger Andrew Shaw with 80% of the vote.
