The planning and construction of Greendale in the late 1930's included taking many photos showing the different phases of construction and the early residents of the Greendale Original homes.
WPA Artwork
The year was 1938 and federal projects like WPA helped re-build the nation during the depression (and created our Greenbelt Community). Here is an extensive collection of WPA posters by various artists.The posters were used to advertise public health, travel, plays and other federally funded projects.
